Volume 2 of the Mass Timber Design Manual is now available and features more than 30 pages of new content, including recently released technical resources, 10 case studies of cutting-edge timber projects, expert Q+As, and more.

Mass timber is a new category of wood product that can transform how America builds, supporting a low carbon future for the built environment. This spring, Think Wood and WoodWorks are releasing their first-ever Mass Timber Design Manual, a free resource that offers a comprehensive collection of the most up-to-date information on topics from mass timber products and design best practices.

The 80-page volume includes mass timber technical resources, cost and design checklists, case studies, and best practice guidelines for improved sustainability, acoustics, connections, building envelopes, durability, and more.

“The market is advancing rapidly, and the Mass Timber Design Manual is designed to keep pace with it, providing timely and comprehensive information to support the design and build pros behind the next wave of mass timber buildings.”
