SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) is one of the nation’s premier colleges focused on the study of the environment, developing renewable technologies, and building a sustainable future. Join SUNY ESF and Think Wood, with support from the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities, for this two-and-a-half-day workshop, October 20-22, where participating construction management faculty can increase their mass timber knowledge by attending lectures, building tours, hands-on learning about mass timber construction, and curriculum planning. Where will the workshop be held?
The workshop will be hosted at SUNY ESF’s Gateway Center and the Construction Management Research & Education Lab in Syracuse, New York.
Who should apply?
The program is open to all faculty teaching in construction management, construction engineering, or construction science programs at 2-year and 4-year institutions. Civil engineering faculty with a construction management focus are also encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to pre-tenure and recently tenured faculty.
Priority is given to applicants who show how they will integrate mass timber into their teaching or research agendas.

How much does it cost to participate?
There is no cost associated with the workshop. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, hotel accommodation and meals will be provided by SUNY ESF.
